We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Center Director to lead our team in providing high-quality early childhood education and care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom experience, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for children. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting staff development while creating a safe and engaging atmosphere for children.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Supervise, mentor, and support teaching staff to enhance their skills and effectiveness in the classroom. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff to create a welcoming community. Manage enrollment processes, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress. Ensure a safe and clean environment for children by adhering to health and safety standards. Collaborate with local organizations to provide resources and support for families, including those with disabilities. Conduct regular assessments of programs and staff performance to ensure high-quality care and education.

Qualifications

Proven classroom experience in early childhood settings is essential. Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage children in learning activities effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in caregiving. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Passion for working with young children and commitment to their growth and development.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
