Responsibilities include:
To work as part of a team in a residential program
Supervision and monitoring of clients
Teach Functional living skills
Assist clients with daily routines and personal care
Provide community orienteering and leisure activities
Conduct appointments as required
Administer medication
Data collection and documentation
Shared responsibility for cooking/ household tasks
Participate in all scheduled staff training programs
Part time staff must be available to work every 2nd weekend (Sat and Sun), and can provide availability for weekdays
Qualifications/Experience:
Post-secondary certificate in DSW, CYW, SSW, or equivalent and related University degree (or in process)
Knowledge and experience in Mental Health, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Developmental Challenges
Good team building skills
Good interactive/ communication skills (verbal and written)
Good organization and time management skills
Driver's License an asset
