At Willow Tree Mind & Wellness we specialize in teaching children and youth Social Emotional Learning skills (SELs), Executive Functioning, and Emotional Regulation Skills to promote Mental Health & Wellness in fun and creative ways! We offer a wide range of group based clinical programs to help our clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviour and teach vital skills and help them live a values driven life! We believe in a holistic, trauma informed and individualized approach to therapy. We provide specialized programming for neurodivergent children and youth with Autism and ADHD (we are an approved provider of the Ontario Autism Program). Our programs utilize strategies from positive psychology, behavioural sciences and child development for a well rounded approach. We know that children learn best through fun, creative and hands on methods of teaching - all of our programming teaches evidence-based concepts through fun and interactive methods!
We are looking to grow our unique clinical team consisting of Registered Social workers, Registered Behaviour Analysts and Child & Youth Therapists to provide quality mental health, child development and educational services to the children and youth of this area!

Who are we looking for?
You are a registered social worker with experience working with children and/or families that is interested in a Senior clinical role at our agency!
You are passionate about holistic and integrative approaches to mental health and wellness.
You are looking to practice in a more holistic, person-centered clinic that values wellness, balance and making therapy fun and effective for kids!
You are looking to expand your clinical skills in the areas of acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, executive functioning, behavioural health or neurodivergent populations.

Qualifications:
Education: Master's of Social Work (MSW)
Registered Social worker (RSW) with the OCSWSSW.
At least 5 year experience working with children and youth in a clinical capacity.
Experience facilitating group-based therapy programs for children & youth.
Experience providing 1:1 therapy with children, youth and families.
Experience with lesson planning and individualizing programming from evidence based curriculums and resources.
Experience with clients diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, mental health or behavioural challenges considered an asset.
Experience and/or knowledge of a variety of therapeutic interventions based on client need.
Experience with Play Therapy or other approaches to therapy with children.
Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Behaviour and behaviour therapy applications.
a love for working with children and youth, and a compassionate, fun and energetic teaching style is a must!
Foundational knowledge of ABA, ACT, mindfulness and third wave cognitive behavioural therapies would be an asset but not required.
A Collaborative, fun, open-minded and non-judgmental attitude!
Open to collaborating with interdisciplinary professionals (Behaviour Analysts, Teachers, etc.)
Passionate about ongoing learning and professional growth, and an interest in helping our agency grow!
An interest in taking on a lead clinical role at our agency and contributing to improving and growing our clinical programs!
Second languages and/or cultural competencies are an asset.
MSW's that have an ABA background or hold a dual credential as a BCBA/RBA/RBT are highly recommended to apply!
Responsibilities:
The Child and Family Clinician will:
Implementing 1:1 therapeutic assessment and treatment for children, youth, young adults and families using a skill building model.
Leading the facilitation of group programs for children and youth.
Lead trainings and clinical meetings with the team
Providing clinical support and supervision to Jr. Therapists and their caseloads.
Lesson planning /Curriculum development: individualized programming from current, evidence-based methods.
Developing new group therapy programs to meet families needs.
Progress monitoring and report writing.
Maintaining Clinical documentation / session notes.
Helping improve our clinical documents, templates, and programs.
Parent coaching and collaborative problem solving with families.
Advocating for clients, liaising with schools and other professionals.
Establishing trust and a therapeutic relationship with clients, ensuring kids have fun attending their sessions!
This may be a Part time or Full time position depending on applicant interest and availability.
This position is for 20-35 hours per week
Minimum
of 20 hours per week for part time employee.
Potential for full time salaried position over time or to grow into a Clinical Manager if the right fit and desired.
Hours are primarily afternoon and evenings (11-7pm, 12-8pm, 2-8pm) with some mornings if desired.
This is a hybrid position but is
primarily on site
with some work from home possible to complete program planning, documentation, etc.

Access to a vehicle to travel to the center, community or client homes nearby is required.
