Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Chief Technical Architect - Web Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the construction of web technology competitiveness and business innovation for Huawei smart devices, grasping the industry technology trends, formulating key technology and business plans for 2 to 5 years, supporting the construction of key technology competitiveness and commercial success, building industry-leading web technology and key web fields business competitiveness.
• Responsible for technical planning in the field of web technology, overall technical plan design and implementation, key technology breakthroughs, patent protection, and academic/industrial cooperation.
• Responsible for core technology identification and technology acquisition strategy formulation in the field of web technology; responsible for internal and external cooperation in core technology.
• Responsible for the analysis of application scenarios and technical implementation of problems in the web technology field, conducting breakthrough web technology research to solve practical problems, delivering solutions, patents or research papers.
• Responsible for landing cutting-edge web techniques for Huawei smart devices.

• More than 8 years of experience in web-related industry/research. Working experience as a team leader and/or participating in popular projects/products is preferred.
• A PhD/Master degree in web/virtualization/operating system relevant majors is preferred.
• In-depth insight of Chromium engine architecture and web graphic rendering technology.
• In-depth insight of web interaction experience and ecosystem, such as WebAssembly, WebXR, WebGPU, etc.
• Participate in or be familiar with W3C standard development.
• Be proficient in resource optimization and performance optimization of the web engine.
