Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of WE Charity and Me to We\xe2\x80\x99s marketing initiatives across all product lines such as WE Day, Trips, WE Schools, and Retail. Working closely with the Executive Team and reporting directly to the Co-Founders, the CMO\'s priorities will be to define, document, and communicate the organization value proposition in a variety of formats and channels; improve branding; supply the sales team with ample qualified leads; achieve aggressive revenue targets; and oversee the strategic development of WE Charity and Me to We. The CMO is also responsible for leading a team of more than 80.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create overall positioning of WE Charity and Me to We\xe2\x80\x99s initiatives as presented through digital/web, marketing collateral, conference and sales materials.
  • Define and drive digital strategies for donor/partner acquisition, retention and engagement.
  • Continuously build brand awareness by managing marketing communications and programs, public relations, media and events to maintain the highest level of visibility.
  • Develop marketing plans for new service launches and platforms.
  • Drive brand message and presence at major industry events to effectively present at conferences, trade shows and public venues.
  • Research and execute marketing opportunities related to direct and co-branded marketing, new donor/partner acquisition, and retention programs.
  • Manage the development of WE Charity and Me to We\xe2\x80\x99s marketing and communications materials, exhibits, and sales promotional programs.
  • Achieve aggressive KPIs for marketing performance, leads and revenue growth year over year.
  • Open conversations and produce leads for partner relationships to drive growth.
  • Work with executive team on long-term strategic planning initiatives.
  • Develop and evangelize new digital strategy offerings within the organization and lead the charge on creating new business opportunities in these areas.
  • Oversee the quality of strategy and creative direction through analysis, hiring and training initiatives for staff.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in senior marketing leadership roles in both the agency world and brand-side.
  • Deep understanding of B2B and B2C digital knowledge and cross-channel strategies.
  • A proven track record demonstrating strategic expertise, analytical skills and online marketing expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience leading marketing and advertising initiatives with a performance history of driving revenue and increasing market share within high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong awareness and use of social media channels (especially LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter).
  • Motivated, proactive, dynamic, creative and results-oriented mindset and approach.
  • Able to contribute to strategic vision and communicate it to a wide variety of audiences, including influencers, evangelists, business leaders, and the media.
  • A desire and ability to roll up your sleeves and work alongside those you will manage and mentor.
  • An understanding of traditional marketing channels such as TV, radio and print.
  • The ability to create compelling and consistent campaigns and break down complex solutions to the core capabilities and benefits of our offerings.
