As we continue to grow and expand our market presence, we seek a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. **Position Overview:** The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for the overall financial management of the company. This includes strategic financial planning, financial reporting, risk management, and driving financial performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, raising equity and debt, and managing investor relations. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Financial Strategy and Planning:** - Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with NOVEM\'s business goals. - Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategic plan. - **Financial Management:** - Direct all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting. - Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS. - **Capital Markets and Fundraising:** - Lead efforts in raising equity and debt to fund company growth and operations. - Develop and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders. - **Mergers and Acquisitions:** - Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities. - Lead the financial due diligence process and manage post-merger integration from a financial perspective. - **Risk Management:** - Identify and manage risks, ensuring that the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation. - Oversee insurance, investments, and other financial instruments to safeguard company assets. - **Reporting and Compliance:** - Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. - Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts. - **Leadership and Team Development:** - Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team. - Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the finance department. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within the agrifood or pharmaceuticals industry. - Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, raising equity and debt, and managing investor relations. - Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations. - Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. - Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy. - High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. - Must be able to pass detailed CriminAl Records/Security Clearance. **Benefits:** - Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays - Professional development opportunities **Application Process:** Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, a cover letter detailing their relevant experience, and references via indeed.
