CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO)

Zentek has appointed Ben Lamarche of Lock Search Group to assist in the recruitment of their next Chief Executive Officer. Zentek is a publicly traded intellectual property (IP) development and commercialization company at the forefront of nanotechnology, advanced materials, and biotechnology. Anchored by a unique graphite asset, Zentek is committed to delivering breakthrough solutions with global impact across healthcare, clean technology, and advanced manufacturing.
The CEO will define and execute Zentek's strategic vision, drive international expansion, and lead the commercialization of its innovative technologies. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this leader will foster investor confidence, cultivate strategic partnerships worldwide, and position Zentek for sustained growth and global influence.
ROLE OVERVIEW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Board to define, communicate, and execute Zentek's long-term vision and growth strategy.
• Investor Relations & Capital Markets: Serve as the primary liaison for shareholders, analysts, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with NASDAQ and TSX requirements.
• Capital Raising & M&A: Lead fundraising initiatives, develop relationships in capital markets, and execute mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
• Global Expansion: Oversee international growth initiatives, particularly in Asia and the Middle East, navigating complex regulatory and market environments.
• Innovation & Commercialization: Drive the development and commercialization of Zentek's advanced materials, biotechnology, and resource technologies.
• Executive Leadership: Recruit, inspire, and retain a high-performing executive team aligned with strategic objectives and company culture.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the public face of Zentek to regulators, industry leaders, government entities, and the broader business community.

REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience (must-have criteria):

• Must have direct CEO experience in nanotechnology.
• Must have leadership experience in a publicly traded company, with proven compliance and governance knowledge on NASDAQ and TSX.
• Must have a successful track record of raising capital, managing investor relations, and closing high-impact transactions.
• Must have executed M&A transactions and be able to provide a deal sheet of completed transactions.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Healthcare Management, or Public Policy).
• Strong background in international business development and navigating global regulatory frameworks.
• Deep understanding of technology commercialization pathways.
