MayWay Education is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable

Chemistry Instructor

to teach group classes across Grades 8-12.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Chemistry lessons in small to medium-sized group settings at our tutoring center (remote teaching available). Teachers are expected to develop their own lesson plans and teaching materials, with opportunities to contribute to curriculum development.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Chemistry instruction in group class settings.
Design, organize, and enhance Chemistry group class programs, including:
IB Chemistry / AP Chemistry

Exam preparation and academic enrichment programs Improve and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse student learning needs. Teach and manage group classrooms, including marking homework, quizzes, and assessments. Collaborate with academic coordinators and support staff to ensure teaching quality. Provide academic feedback to students and communicate with parents when necessary.

Qualifications:

PhD or Master's degree required (Chemistry or related fields preferred). Minimum two years of teaching experience. Major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Education, or related fields is required. Experience teaching IB / AP Chemistry or group classes is a strong asset. Personal computer with camera. High-speed internet connection. Quiet, clutter-free, well-lit teaching environment. Must be willing to work Eastern Time.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
