As an Academic Tutor at Astro Nova Tutoring, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve academic success by providing personalized tutoring services. You will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and adapt our research-backed methodologies to meet their specific needs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for students in various subjects, with a focus on personalized learning. Stay informed about the latest research in education and incorporate evidence-based strategies into tutoring sessions. Assess students' academic needs and develop customized tutoring plans to enhance their understanding of the subject matter. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their study skills, test-taking strategies, and overall academic performance. Communicate effectively with students and parents to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:

Pursuing or obtained a bachelor's degree in a relevant field to which you will be teaching. Previous experience tutoring is a definite asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles. Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed. Must own a vehicle for transportation to and from tutoring sessions
