Tetra-Chem Industries Ltd. is a privately held custom chemical manufacturing company. We are seeking to hire an experienced, and safety focused DZ licensed driver with a minimum of 3 years insured experience.

This is a dual role with 80% of time dedicated to daily chemical deliveries and 20% of time dedicated to chemical waste removals. The successful candidate will handle 80% non-hazardous chemical waste, and 20% hazardous chemical waste from a generator site to a receive site. The position works with a team of waste technicians, coordinates daily with a logistics lead and reports directly to the Plant Manager. This hands-on position requires the candidate to be mechanically inclined as you will be using pumps and vacuums to suck out chemical waste at customer locations. C1 vacuum truck training will be provided at the time of hire to ensure Transport Canada compliance. Attention to detail is paramount in this position as you will be calculating waste volumes, monitored by Ministry of The Environment and Climate Change.

This position is one member of a cross-functional team and must be able to partner with employees from other areas of the business including but not limited to Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, Sales and Marketing, Health and Safety, and Human Resources, to achieve the business plan.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
