Responsibilities:

Operate a DZ-class commercial vehicle safely and in compliance with all provincial regulations and company policies.*
Make daily local deliveries and pick ups to customers according to the schedule, in a safe and professional manner*
Prepare and complete all paperwork (BOL) needed*
Review and verify proper material is loaded and delivered*
Strictly adhere to and comply with all health and safety rules*
Complete pre-trip inspections of truck and safely operate equipment*
Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack pull and carry heavy items*
Ability to drive confidentially in a variety of weather, temperature, and road conditions*
Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customers relationships*

Qualifications:

Valid DZ class license Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract Comfortable operating 5 ton tandem axle delivery truck, automatic with air brakes Organized and keen attention to detail Mechanically inclined and knowledgeable about tires Physically fit, capable of heavy lifting (100+ pounds) Ability to work independently and part of a team
