Duties



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety regulations Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management Manage food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and safety standards Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service and customer satisfaction Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment Lead menu development initiatives, incorporating innovative culinary techniques and trends Ensure compliance with all health regulations and restaurant policies

Skills



Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong food preparation and cooking skills across diverse cuisines Excellent team management and leadership abilities In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in restaurant management, including inventory control and staff supervision Exceptional food industry knowledge with a focus on hospitality excellence Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and service staff Passion for serving high-quality meals and creating memorable dining experiences
