We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee food preparation, manage kitchen operations, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. The Chef will play a vital role in creating a welcoming dining environment, supervising staff, and maintaining efficient kitchen workflows.

Duties



Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Oversee food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels Ensure timely serving of high-quality meals to guests Train and mentor team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that meet customer preferences and industry trends Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent service during food serving times Monitor kitchen operations to optimize efficiency and reduce waste

Qualifications



Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management Supervising experience in a culinary or hospitality environment is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Solid understanding of the food industry, including current trends and best practices in hospitality Experience in food service, kitchen operations, and restaurant experience preferred Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Exceptional communication skills for team management and customer interaction Demonstrated ability to serve high-quality meals consistently while adhering to safety protocols Valid Food Handler Certificate required, or willingness to obtain one before or shortly after hiring

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$30.82 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
