Responsibilities

Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency in every dish. Develop and implement menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations. Supervise the daily operations of the kitchen, including inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Train and mentor kitchen staff in food handling procedures, cooking techniques, and presentation skills. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours. Monitor food costs and waste management to maintain profitability without compromising quality.

Skills

Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Proficient in bartending techniques and beverage pairings. Extensive knowledge of food preparation methods and culinary techniques. Experience in supervising kitchen operations and managing staff effectively. Solid understanding of restaurant management practices within the food industry. Familiarity with food service protocols, including proper food handling procedures. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety throughout all kitchen activities.
