Overview


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards, and manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork Manage food preparation processes, including ingredient sourcing, portion control, and food handling procedures Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with health regulations Lead menu development and innovate new recipes to enhance customer satisfaction Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, food safety, and hospitality standards Coordinate with restaurant management to meet service goals and customer expectations Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices Extensive restaurant management experience with demonstrated leadership skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Excellent team management abilities with a focus on fostering a positive work environment Previous experience in hospitality or the food industry preferred Ability to serve as a role model for professionalism, efficiency, and culinary excellence Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with staff and management Passion for culinary arts with an innovative approach to menu creation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
