We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for food preparation and service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Duties



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations Manage food inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper storage practices Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area in accordance with health codes Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that meet customer preferences and industry trends Serve as a leader in the kitchen, fostering teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold restaurant standards Assist in managing restaurant operations during busy periods or staff shortages

Requirements



Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience with team management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and handling procedures Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Excellent understanding of restaurant management operations Skilled in food industry best practices, including kitchen organization and customer service excellence Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Experience with food presentation, serving techniques, and culinary innovation A background in hospitality or related fields is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 28 per week
