Job Summary



We are seeking a talented, driven, and creative

Chef

to lead our kitchen team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, inspiring culinary excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. The ideal candidate is not only technically skilled but also a visionary who can guide a team and help shape the future of our restaurant's culinary identity.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring smooth daily service and consistent quality. Create and develop seasonal menus and daily features that reflect the restaurant's elevated style and standards. Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff; foster a team-oriented, disciplined, and positive work environment. Oversee food preparation, plating, and quality control--ensuring every dish meets Legacy's standards before leaving the kitchen. Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and food cost control with a focus on efficiency and minimizing waste. Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and workplace health requirements. Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house team to align culinary vision with overall guest experience. Lead by example on the line during peak periods and special events.

Qualifications



Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality, full-service kitchen. Deep knowledge of classic and modern cooking techniques, plating styles, and international cuisine--especially Italian and French. Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and retain a high-performing culinary team. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Passionate about food, innovation, and guest satisfaction. Proficient in kitchen management, costing, scheduling, and ordering systems. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $18.17-$25.93 per hour
