Your expertise in the food industry and hospitality will be essential in maintaining high-quality food service.

Duties

Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure efficient workflow Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while adhering to recipes and presentation standards Oversee food handling practices to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop seasonal menus and special offerings Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen procedures Maintain inventory of food supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients Monitor food quality and presentation to guarantee an exceptional dining experience for guests

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing team dynamics effectively Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling ingredients Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Familiarity with restaurant management processes is preferred Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
