Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow
Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards
Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
Lead menu development and innovate new culinary offerings
Ensure timely serving of meals while maintaining quality control
Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance
Uphold food safety regulations and sanitation policies at all times
Collaborate with restaurant management to deliver excellent customer service
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management
Supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
Solid background in the food industry, including restaurant experience and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on serving guests' needs
Passion for culinary arts with an innovative approach to menu creation
Relevant certifications or training in food handling and safety regulations are preferred
