Responsibilities

Develop and design creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Supervise and train kitchen staff in food handling, preparation techniques, and presentation standards. Maintain inventory of food supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards, focusing on taste, presentation, and consistency. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning and coordinate repairs when necessary. Uphold a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively. Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
