Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new menu items and enhance existing offerings.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food handling practices.
Monitor food quality during preparation and service to ensure consistency.
Assist with bartending duties as needed during service hours.
Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts.
Experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles is preferred.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
