Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality, consistency, and freshness Enforce food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area Lead menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes Monitor kitchen operations to optimize productivity and reduce waste

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience or leadership roles in the food industry preferred Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Knowledge of the food industry trends and culinary techniques Exceptional leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork and hospitality excellence Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Relevant certifications or training in culinary arts or hospitality management are advantageous
