We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating innovative menus. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Chef will play a vital role in menu planning, inventory control, and supervising kitchen staff to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service delivery
Develop and plan menus that align with restaurant standards and customer preferences
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high quality and consistency
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Supervise shift management, including scheduling staff and coordinating workflow
Oversee catering events, banquets, and special functions as required
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance culinary skills and teamwork
Collaborate with management on restaurant operations, including budgeting and cost control
Requirements
Proven experience in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management with strong culinary skills
Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Extensive culinary experience including food production, food handling, and food safety standards
Knowledge of inventory management, menu planning, and kitchen management systems
Experience with banquet service, dietary department protocols, and hospitality standards is preferred
Leadership abilities with excellent team management skills
Strong understanding of food industry trends and culinary techniques
Ability to oversee multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail
Certification or training in food safety is highly desirable
Prior experience in restaurant or food service management roles is essential

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
