Our range of hospitality services include work-camp staffing and management, culinary services, utility services, communications and maintenance, snow removal, event coordination and lifestyle programs.


In preparation for upcoming projects, we have immediate opportunities for

Chefs in Alberta and Northern British Columbia.



As

Chef

, the successful candidate is the leader for all kitchen operations, financial and budgetary requirements, safety protocols including food safety and HACCP, and overseeing and maintaining excellent relations with the on-site client and guests.

Key Responsibilities:



Budget and Financial Management:

Managing the kitchen budget, inventory, food cost, and profitability.

Operational Efficiency:

Ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and service.

Quality Control:

Maintaining the highest food quality standards, ensuring food is properly prepared, cooked, and plated.

Production:

Participate oversee and be responsible for preparation, handling, ,production and timely service of all meals.

Food Safety and Health Codes:

Enforcing food safety and health code standards in the kitchen.

Staff Management:

Training, supervising, and managing all kitchen staff.

Communication:

Communicating effectively with kitchen staff, management, client, and site guests.

Reporting:

completing all daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.

Site Safety:

Ensure compliance with all company and client safety protocols. Daily participation in safety requirements and meetings.

Ability to work independently in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of Food Safety regulations and camp operations Willingness to work rotational shifts Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to lead a team Ability to work well with diverse personalities, Display a professional, tactful, mature demeanor Creativity in food display and presentation abilities

Education and Experience:



Red Seal Certification or Journeyman Certification with minimum 3-5 years experience Remote camp experience preferred Proficient with computers Literate in English language with reading and writing competency Valid Food Safe Level 1 First Aid certification

Working Conditions:



Remote camp setting with extended stays on-site (e.g., 28/14 rotations). Accommodation and meals provided. Overtime hours * May be required to occasionally assist with general camp duties (e.g., cleaning dishwashing.)
