Nous recherchons un chef de projet d'ingenierie pour l'entite Hydroelectrique Amerique du Nord de GE Vernova. Dans ce role, le chef de projet ingenierie (PEM) est responsable de l'execution technique de l'integration des composantes et sous-systemes pour des projets large Hydro. La personne sera responsable de la coordination des fonctions de la gestion de produit, du Centre d'excellence d'Ingenierie et du Bureau de projet. Elle veillera a ce que les couts et les performances des produits vises soient respectes sur le plan technique tout au long de l'execution.

L'activite Hydroelectrique de GE Vernova concoit, developpe, fabrique et entretient des technologies avancees qui exploitent la puissance de l'eau pour fournir une energie fiable et durable. Responsabilites:

Definir les exigences des clients et la conformite du systeme aux specifications contractuelles Fournir des ensembles de travaux au Centre d'excellence pour le projet, notamment les exigences des clients, les interfaces, la planification, la performance, la fiabilite et les couts conformement a ce qui a ete vendu Coordonner et controler les interfaces a l'interne, pour les clients et les partenaires, comme on le definit dans la matrice de l'interface (DOW), responsable des risques et des occasions d'opportunites ainsi que du mouvement de la marge concernant ce qui est defini dans la portee du projet Gerez et harmoniser la documentation technique (incluant la numerotation des documents sur l'utilisation et l'entretien de l'equipement) Point de contact technique pour les clients et les partenaires externes Au stade de la conception, identifier les alternatives et les possibilites d'optimisation qui pourraient avoir un impact sur la conception, les fournitures ou les operations du site, en fonction de la strategie determinee Livrez les specifications et les donnees d'interface aux partenaires (systeme, turbines, generateurs et ingenieurs civils). Responsable de la validation des schemas et de la documentation sur des aspects specifiques des projets Recevoir et coordonner les commentaires et les retroactions des autres parties du processus (conception, chantier et client) du debut de la conception de base jusqu'a l'approbation finale du produit, en incluant egalement l'information sur l'ouvrage termine Accepte ou rejette les changements en cas d'ecarts par rapport aux exigences des clients ou les standards GE et gerez les modifications de commandes Participe aux rencontres de revision de projets, aux rencontres d'etapes des projets Coordonner le soutien des activites du chantier avec le Centre d'excellence

Qualifications

:

Baccalaureat en ingenierie Minimum de 5 ans d'experience dans l'execution de projets et la conception technique de turbines et/ou de generateurs Excellentes habiletes en communication et en gestion de projets Qualites de meneur et de negociateur eprouvees Habiletes analytiques et esprit strategique Experience pertinente en planification et en gestion d'ensembles de travaux Bilinguisme francais/anglais. We are looking for a project engineering manager for our Hydro Power North America division within GE Vernova. In this role, the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) will be responsible for the technical execution of the integration of components and product subsystems for large hydro projects. The PEM be responsible for the coordination of the Product Management, Engineering Centres of Excellence and Project Office functions. The PEM will ensure targeted cost and product performance are met on the technical side throughout execution.

Responsibilities:

Define customer requirements and the conformity of the system to the contractual specifications. Provide WORK packages to the Centre of Excellence for the project, including client requirements, interfaces, planning, performance, reliability and costs in accordance with what has been sold. Coordinate and control the interfaces internally, for customers and partners, as defined in the Interface Matrix (DOW) Responsible for the risks and opportunities as well as the movement of margin on what is under project scope. Manage and harmonize technical documentation (including numbering of documents on the use and maintenance of equipment). Technical point of contact for customers and external partners. At the design stage, identify alternatives and optimization opportunities that could impact the design, supplies or site operations, based on the strategy determined. Deliver specifications and interface data to the partners (system, turbines, generators and civil engineers), responsible for the validation of schematics and documentation on specific aspects of projects. Receive and coordinate feedback from the other parts of the process (design, site and client) from the beginning of the basic design to final product approval, also including information on the completed work and leads post-mortems to improve process. Accept or reject changes in case of deviations from customer requirements or GE standards and manage order changes in conjunction with project management. Participates in project review meetings, project milestone meetings. Coordinates support of site activities with the Centre of Excellence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience in project execution and engineering design of turbines and/or generators Strong communication and project management skills Proven leadership and negotiation skills Proven analytical skills and strategic mindset. Relevant experience in planning and management of work-packages Bilingual French and English. Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited, reference verification and background check. Must have unrestricted Canadian work authorization.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
