The Opportunity

Cibo Trattoria/ Red Card Sports Bar + Eatery

is currently seeking a reliable, passionate, experienced

Chef de Partie

to join our impressive BOH team. The ideal candidate will have a sincere passion for hospitality and upscale service, working directly with our Head Chef!

What You'll Do

Prepare dishes and create recipes Assist in running and managing kitchen operations Assist in hiring, training and supervising cooks and other kitchen staff Assist in planning menus Assist in preparing schedules for kitchen staff Ensure kitchen is clean, well-supplied and organized Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked
Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.

Report to the Head Chef and follow instructions accordingly.

Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.

Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.

Stock inventory and supplies.

Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.

What You Have

4+ years of experience in the same or a similar role.

Enthusiastic and committed to guest satisfaction.

Honest, trustworthy and reliable.

Strong attention to detail.

Availability to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.
