Job description: Chef de Partie for Fine Dining Restaurant

About Us:
Our new fine dining restaurant in historic downtown Toronto is looking for a dedicated and talented Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. Be a part of crafting exceptional dishes in a creative and professional environment.

Position: Chef de Partie
Location: Toronto, 83 Yonge Street

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute dishes in your assigned section to the highest standards.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef to ensure menu consistency and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in your workstation.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Contribute to menu planning and the development of new dishes.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fine dining restaurant.
• Excellent professional skills
• Expertise in your assigned section (e.g.,grilled,pasta,sauce/soup/side, salads, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative and team-oriented attitude.
• Passion for high-end cuisine and continuous learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

Experience:

• Cooking: 3 years (required)

• Food Handler Certification (required)
• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
