Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our restaurant delivers high-quality meals to our guests in a timely manner. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality control.

Requirements

Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed guest expectations.
