Job Description

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality food, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and supporting culinary innovation through teamwork and consistency.

Responsibilities:

Prepare all food items according to established preparation and presentation standards Maintain a clean and sanitary production area and follow all food safety and WHMIS regulations Adhere to personal hygiene standards and all sanitary codes Help manage food and labour costs by following chef-assigned duties Communicate with restaurant staff, line cooks, and the Food Services Manager to support guest satisfaction Ensure stock levels are maintained and items are properly stored and labeled Maintain professionalism and stay aware of current culinary trends Take full responsibility for the kitchen when the Chef is absent, including cleanliness and purchasing Participate in banquet and outlet service, and build strong working relationships within the team Contribute to menu planning by reviewing seasonal availability and current sales performance Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Chef, Director of Operations, or General Manager

Qualifications:

Minimum

4 years of experience

in a professional kitchen setting Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation practices Ability to work independently and lead the kitchen in the Chef's absence Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude Understanding of WHMIS and food production regulations * Flexibility to support both banquet and restaurant service as needed
