Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly handled. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and slicers. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure quality. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service or food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for cooking and commitment to providing high-quality meals.
