Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Manage a designated section of the kitchen during service
Assist with food preparation including chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times
Ensure food is handled, stored, and labeled correctly following food safety regulations
Follow HACCP and sanitation procedures for all equipment and utensils
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours
Monitor stock rotation (FIFO), report shortages, and reduce food waste
Support inventory control and daily kitchen operations
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a
Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or similar role
Food Safety Level 1 certification is a strong advantage
Candidates without certification must obtain Food Safety Level 1 within one month of hiring
Good knowledge of food hygiene, safe food handling, and kitchen safety practices
Strong understanding of professional kitchen operations and meal preparation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
High attention to detail in food presentation and quality
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and rotating shifts
Preferred Qualities
Previous restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen experience
Passion for culinary arts and continuous improvement
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
