We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen team in creating exceptional culinary experiences. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering high-quality dishes that delight our guests.
Duties
Supervise and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality food production.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Oversee food service operations, ensuring timely delivery of meals to guests.
Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and manage ordering as needed.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and best practices in the kitchen.
Collaborate with management on menu planning and development to enhance the dining experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in a culinary role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Minimum of 5 year experience in a similar role.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership.
Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for handling food products.
Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with guests.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
