We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food preparation and Italian cooking, along with strong leadership skills to manage kitchen operations effectively. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team of kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage food preparation activities
Create and develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste are consistently met
Supervise and train kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety practices
Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and order ingredients as needed
Enforce food safety regulations to ensure compliance with health department standards
Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize kitchen efficiency and service quality
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation
Experience in restaurant management with a focus on team management and leadership
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
