We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, showcasing expertise in both cooking and kitchen management. The Chef will oversee onsite kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation practices within the kitchen.
Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service and customer satisfaction.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food service best practices.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Rational cooking & experience in catering required.
Experience in team management with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with hospitality software, and web based ordering is a plus.
A passion for culinary arts combined with excellent communication skills is essential for success in this role.
