Seeking dynamic, passionate, experienced chef with desire to lead and carry on a family legacy 16 years in the making. Franca's Italian Restaurant, informally known as Franca's, is under new ownership and is looking for the right person to lead the kitchen team. Must have solid kitchen experience and must have experience leading a team as well as working alone. Experience with Italian cuisine is preferred and will be given priority.

You will be executing an existing menu. However, while menu will mostly remain the same, we are looking for someone that is passionate about bringing ideas to the table and excited to feature their talents with new menu items, special events, and tasting menus. Must be able to work well under pressure with deadlines while keeping your cool during the transition period and growing pains. We are looking for someone who wants to shape and build a menu they can truly put their stamp on.

Restaurant is currently open limited hours, but hours will increase with new ownership, currently Wednesday-Friday lunches and Thursday-Saturday dinners. We are looking for someone to grow with us and welcome new ways to continue the legacy of this amazing Italian restaurant.

Must be willing to lead and build a team, while working in tandem with Executive management in the corporation. Opportunities for passion projects, respect for time off and work/life balance. Salaried position, starting at $50,000/year, plus tips. Based on experience.
