Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively Develop new menu items in collaboration with management and incorporate current culinary trends Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health regulations Lead by example in providing excellent food service and hospitality to guests Ensure all food preparation aligns with restaurant standards and customer expectations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management Supervising experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude Background in the food industry, including restaurant experience and kitchen operations Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and service Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in the hospitality field
