Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food quality
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
Develop new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team, maintaining consistency and creativity
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize kitchen operations
Train and mentor team members to enhance skills and promote a positive work environment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health standards
Serve as a key point of contact for restaurant management regarding daily operations and customer satisfaction
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Strong team management skills with leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with restaurant management practices, including inventory control and staff training
Knowledge of food safety standards, handling procedures, and sanitation protocols
Prior restaurant experience demonstrating proficiency in kitchen operations and customer service excellence
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
