Performance Expectations...

The successful candidate will greet and assist all guests, giving great customer service with every interaction. You'll prepare made-to-order gift baskets, cheese & charcuterie boards. You will provide exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and speedy service You'll be consistent and dependable for your team members You'll care for the cheeses and the space, following our documented procedures. You will taste our various products along your journey to build your knowledge and ensure great quality of product sold. You'll receive deliveries, document and store cheese/product, cut cheese and other products and repackage for the shelves. You'll help to keep the shop organized and clean.

What you bring...

A sincere passion for all things cheesy. Customer facing experience in the restaurant or food/retail industries Grade 12 Diploma Basic math skills Ability to learn quickly and retain new information Positive outlook and attitude Exceptional personal and interpersonal skills Friendly demeanor Basic Computer knowledge: Word/Excel/Google Drive WHMIS Certificate (desirable) Endurance to exert yourself in a well paced environment up to 8 hours Ability to climb ladders and to crouch low for restocking product Ability to frequently lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds Ability to frequently grasp knives and cheese wire handles Ability to stand/walk constantly for the shift
