Job Description

We are a nonprofit fundraising firm based in Saskatoon and have recently made plans to expand our entry-level events team. We have teamed up with nonprofits that are passionate about giving back. Our mission is to make a massive impact by bringing more awareness to our charity partners' core mission and increasing their donations through community events. We have an opening for an outgoing, career-motivated individual to fill our entry level Charity Event Assistant position IMMEDIATELY.

Charity Event Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Educate community members on their charity partner's core mission
  • Attend in-person events to drive awareness and increase donor support amongst community members
  • Organize and assist with all fundraising activities
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently with fellow team members to increase fundraising
  • Maintain all donation records throughout the course of each event
  • Assist with training new associates on policies and procedures
Charity Event Assistant Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in philanthropy, community outreach, events or promotions
  • Strong desire to work with nonprofit organizations
  • Passion for giving back to the community and volunteering
  • Ability to public speak and present our mission with confidence and professionalism
  • Demonstrate the ability to use persuasive communication, leadership, and relationship-building
  • Sales experience preferred
