The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.Position OverviewUnder the general direction of the Manager Health Services, the incumbent is responsible for: * Maintaining a role in the provision of clinical services as an EEG Technologist.

  • Overseeing the daily clinical service delivery and environmental/operational issues in a designated service area to ensure optimum client care in a safe therapeutic environment. This includes coordinating clinical work schedules, caseload reviews, supporting student experiences, etc.
  • Providing guidance to team members through clinical leadership, mentoring, supervision, education, evaluation, and research.
  • Contributing to the delivery of quality services by examining, developing, refining and evaluating clinical practices and supporting quality, program planning and development.
Experience
  • Minimum five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Neurodiagnostics.
  • Clinical leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must have a working knowledge of ambulatory monitors and/or associated technologies used routinely in Neurodiagnostics.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • University entrance training and successful completion of a recognized EEG Training Program.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Must be certified by and maintain current registration with the CBRET.
  • Secondary certification in a Neurodiagnostics modality preferred.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the concepts of change management and experience supporting positive change.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building and role-modelling skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining and evolving current knowledge in area of expertise through reviewing literature and attending continuing education in-services, workshops and conferences, and participation in the training of students and other trainees.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Demonstrated organization skills in the workplace and the ability to determine clear priorities.
