• Lire et analyser les documents de soumission (plans, devis, instructions, etc.)
• Participer \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9laboration des soumissions et estim\xc3\xa9s de co\xc3\xbbts de construction (lecture des plans, d\xc3\xa9comptes de mat\xc3\xa9riaux, n\xc3\xa9gociation avec les sous-traitants et fournisseurs, etc.)
• Obtenir et r\xc3\xa9viser les soumission de sous-traitants / fournisseurs
• Pr\xc3\xa9parer les \xc3\xa9ch\xc3\xa9ancier, listes de valeurs, liste de mat\xc3\xa9riaux et dessins d\xe2\x80\x99atelier, etc.
• Coordination avec les professionnels, clients, sous-traitants
• Octroyer les sous-contrats et passer les commandes de mat\xc3\xa9riaux
• Coordination avec le personnel de chantier pour l\xe2\x80\x99ouverture, la r\xc3\xa9ception de commandes, r\xc3\xa8gles et restrictions d\xe2\x80\x99ex\xc3\xa9cution, fermeture de chantier, etc.

Phase - Ex\xc3\xa9cution

• Veiller au bon d\xc3\xa9roulement du projet
• Entretiens quotidiens avec le surintendant (\xc3\xa0 distance) et d\xc3\xa9placements aux chantier (en personne lorsque requis)
• Suivi des budgets et contrats octroy\xc3\xa9s
• Mise \xc3\xa0 jour des \xc3\xa9ch\xc3\xa9anciers, budgets et gestion des modifications de chantier (incluant estimation des co\xc3\xbbts en lien avec ceux-ci)
• Gestion de la documentation de projet (d\xc3\xa9nonciations, transmission des informations \xc3\xa0 la comptabilit\xc3\xa9 pour la facturation, pr\xc3\xa9paration de la documents de fin de chantier, etc.)
• Assister \xc3\xa0 des rencontres d\xe2\x80\x99avancement ou autres avec les divers intervenants du projet

Comp\xc3\xa9tences:

• Formation DEC en architecture ou autre en lien avec le domaine de la construction commerciale (un atout)
• 5 ann\xc3\xa9es ou plus d\xe2\x80\x99exp\xc3\xa9rience dans le domaine (charg\xc3\xa9 de projet, assistant de projet, estimateur, surintendant ou contremaitre, etc.) (obligatoire)
• Excellente capacit\xc3\xa9 de lire les plans et devis de construction (obligatoire)
• Aptitudes en estimation de co\xc3\xbbts et modifications en cours de chantier (obligatoire)

Your Future Employer Construction Rempart Inc. is a fast-growing general contracting and construction management company with various commercial projects in the Greater Montreal Region. We are looking to add a project manager to our growing team of professionals. Our ideal candidate has 5-8 years ofexperience renovating and retrofitting commercial & industrial buildings (high-end residential experience or knowledge of the mechanical trades is a bonus). Our teams are small but mighty and work hand in hand on the various projects so fit is a big deal to us. Your New Role: Pre-Construction & Procurement Phases

• Read and analyze bid documents (plans, specifications, instructions, etc.)
• Participate in the preparation of bids and construction cost estimates (reading plans, material counts, negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers, etc.)
• Obtain and review subcontractor/supplier bids
• Prepare schedules, schedule of value, material order and shop drawings lists, etc.
• Coordination with professionals, clients, subcontractors
• Analyzing & negotiating subcontractor bids, awarding subcontracts and placing material orders
• Coordination with site personnel for site opening/closing, receiving material orders, site storage requirements, enforcement of site rules and restrictions, etc.

Execution Phase

• Ensure smooth advancement of the project
• Daily touch-points with the superintendent (remotely) and travel to the site (in person meetings, as required)
• Tracking budgets and project costs
• Update schedules, budgets and management of site modifications (including cost estimates related to these
• Management of project documentation (denunciations, transmission of information to accounting for invoicing, preparation of end of work documents, etc.)
• Attend progress or other meetings with the various project stakeholders

Qualifications:

• DEC education in architecture or other related field (an asset)
• 5+ years experience in commercial construction (project manager, project assistant, estimator, superintendent or foreman, etc.) (required)
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications (required)
• Ability to estimate costs and manage change orders during construction phase (required)
• Knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) (required)
• Must have a valid ASP card (required)

• Autonomous and able to work under pressure
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
