Le Charge de projet est responsable de superviser et de maintenir les taches detaillees ci-dessous, et agit conformement aux valeurs fondamentales d'Applied Electronique tout en soutenant son plan strategique.

Le titulaire du poste atteint ses objectifs en supervisant et en utilisant efficacement les methodologies en gestion de projet pour garantir que les processus, le flux de travail et les taches quotidiennes sur site sont completes et documentes en collaboration avec les equipes de gestion et techniques de la region. Le charge de projet gere les situations d'escalade aupres des clients internes et externes lorsque cela est necessaire, et veille a repondre aux attentes des clients tout en respectant les standards de l'entreprise.

Responsabilites et taches (incluant, mais pas limitees a) :

1. Responsable de la gestion globale de projet, de la coordination, de la mise en oeuvre, de l'execution, du controle et de l'achevement de tous les projets assignes en assurant la coherence avec la strategie, les engagements et les objectifs de l'entreprise.

2. En collaboration avec le gestionnaire technique regional, attribuer des ressources techniques specifiques, y compris des sous-traitants, aux livrables du projet et assurer une utilisation efficace de ces ressources.

Effectuer ou deleguer les taches/activites du projet, ainsi que designer un superviseur ou un chef de site. Determiner les ressources necessaires pour le projet. Elaborer des plannings appropries avec les responsables des ressources pour optimiser leur utilisation. Creer un plan de communication et de responsabilites. Allouer (equipe projet assignee) les ressources techniques, y compris les sous-traitants, aux livrables du projet. Developper et maintenir un calendrier de mise en oeuvre du projet et le produire dans les formats requis, tels que des diagrammes de GANTT et/ou des plannings Excel. Creer et mettre a jour un plan de projet. Suivre et rendre compte de l'avancement du projet et des couts, y compris l'elaboration de listes de points a traiter (?punch lists?).
3. En tant que representant principal d'Applied Electronique sur site, s'assurer que les processus de projet et d'installation sont documentes et suivis, tout en offrant une experience client positive.

La coordination de projet sera requise et inclura l'interfacage avec les architectes, les entrepreneurs generaux, les entrepreneurs electriciens et les clients tout au long de la phase des projets assignes. Maintenir le controle du projet en mesurant la performance et en determinant s'il existe des ecarts par rapport au plan, Gerer de maniere proactive les defis du projet et suivre les voies d'escalade connues, Fournir des communications frequentes et opportunes au client, Coordonner les interactions entre le projet et les principales parties prenantes, Selectionner les processus appropries pour le projet, Identifier et analyser les contraintes et les hypotheses pour clarification. Diriger et orienter les efforts de planification de la livraison du projet. Identifier les dependances entre les activites. Coordonner la logistique des equipements et des materiaux avec le personnel logistique d'Applied Electronique, les equipes d'installation et les expeditions d'Applied Electronique ou des fournisseurs. Etre responsable de l'obtention des licences et permis necessaires qui pourraient etre requis pour que l'equipe execute les projets. Maintenir un haut niveau d'efficacite et de professionnalisme sur le site de travail. Resoudre les differends entre les membres de l'equipe et la direction et aider a traiter les problemes entre membres de l'equipe afin d'eviter les comportements inacceptables.
4. Supervision, suivi financiere et de la qualite des projets assignes.

Realiser une revue technique des projets assignes, incluant des reunions avec les equipes de vente et de conception, afin d'examiner le perimetre du projet, la nomenclature des materiaux (BOM), le cahier des charges (SOW), les schemas fonctionnels CAD et de flux, les listes d'equipements et les estimations de main-d'oeuvre durant le processus de developpement de la proposition et/ou avant le lancement du projet pour garantir l'exactitude. Responsable du developpement et du maintien d'un calendrier ainsi que des reserves de couts financiers pour les projets assignes. Gere l'equipe projet afin de realiser les activites et taches dans les objectifs specifies (financiers, temporels, qualite) selon les demandes. Surveille les depenses operationnelles, les budgets d'investissement, les echeanciers et les ressources pour les projets assignes. Remonte aux collaborateurs concernes d'Applied Electronics tout ajustement necessaire concernant la main-d'oeuvre, les finances ou la planification. Effectue la cloture du projet a la fin de chaque phase et pour l'ensemble du projet, dans le respect du budget et du calendrier estime. Gere la cloture reussie du projet, incluant : les tests du systeme, le suivi des deficiences, la mise en service, la formation du client, la remise de la documentation de cloture et l'obtention de la validation du client. La cloture du projet s'effectue lorsque le client confirme qu'aucune deficience n'est en suspens, attestant ainsi d'un degre eleve de satisfaction de la clientele. Prepare les previsions et les rapports necessaires a l'execution et a la communication du projet. Autorise et attribue les travaux, materiaux et outils mentionnes ci-dessus. Cree, maintient et controle la realisation de toute liste de deficiences du projet.
5. Soutenir et promouvoir toutes les politiques et procedures de sante et securite.

Le titulaire du poste doit prendre toutes les mesures necessaires pour assurer sa sante et sa securite ainsi que celles du personnel et des sous- traitants sous sa responsabilite, tout en veillant a la protection du public. Le charge de projet doit s'assurer que les conditions sur site respectent les normes de securite de l'entreprise et de l'industrie pour les travaux a realiser. Le charge de projet doit veiller a ce que les employes sous sa responsabilite respectent toutes les instructions, directives, politiques et procedures en matiere de sante et securite.
6. Participer a des projets speciaux et effectuer d'autres taches selon les besoins.

Exigences / Qualifications:



Formation academique:

Certification reconnue en gestion de projet Etudes postsecondaires en technologie electronique ou equivalent Formation en leadership (souhaitable)

Experience professionnelle:



Minimum de 3 ans d'experience dans un role de gestion de projet Experience en gestion de projet audiovisuel est un atout

Competences specifiques:



Excellentes competences en communication, verbale et ecrite. Le bilinguisme (francais/anglais) est un atout Autorisation de securite CISD niveau Secret II ou plus est souhaitable; capacite a etre admissible requise Esprit d'equipe avec de fortes competences interpersonnelles et un haut niveau de professionnalisme Maitrise de Microsoft Excel, Word, Project et Outlook requise Connaissance des logiciels tels que Visio, Autocad, VectorWorks Connaissance demontree de la suite Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) Experience avancee avec les composants de systemes de diffusion (broadcast) et audiovisuels Preference accordee aux titulaires de la designation PMP (Project Management Professional) Permis de conduire valide requis Capacite a voyager au niveau national et international sans restriction Experience en direction d'equipes techniques et de sous-traitants Experience dans la definition d'objectifs quotidiens/hebdomadaires/mensuels et leur communication aux equipes d'installation Experience dans l'organisation des flux de travail de projet en assignant des responsabilites aux techniciens Experience dans la coordination efficace de plusieurs projets et l'execution de multiples taches simultanement dans un environnement dynamique

The

Project Manager

is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the duties detailed below, and operates in a manner consistent with Applied Electronics' core values while supporting its strategic plan.

The incumbent is successful through overseeing and effective utilization of project management methodologies to ensure the processes, workflow and day-to-day on-site project work tasks are completed and documented alongside the technical team. The Project Manager responds to internal and external customer escalations as required, and is committed to meeting customer expectations and company standards.

Job Duties:



1.

Responsible for the overall Project Management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of all assigned projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

2.

In conjunction with the Technical Supervisor, assign specific technical resources including subcontractors to project deliverables, and ensure efficient utilization of these resources

Perform or delegate project management activities Determine the resources required for the project Devise appropriate schedules with resource managers for resource optimization Create a communications and responsibilities plan. Allocates (assigned project team) technical resources, including subcontractors, to project deliverables. Develop and maintain a project implementation schedule and produce in required formats such as a GANTT charts and/or Excel timetables Create and update a project management plan Track and report on project progress and costs including development of project punch lists

As the senior onsite Applied Electronics representative, the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that Applied Electronics project and installation processes are documented and followed, while ensuring she/he is delivering a positive customer experience.

Project coordination will be a requirement and include interfacing with Architects, General Contractors, Electrical Contractors and clients throughout the entire phase of the projects assigned. Maintain control over the project by measuring performance and determining if there are any variances from the plan Proactively manage project challenges and follow known escalation paths. Provide frequent and timely communications to the client. Coordinate interactions between the project and key stakeholders Select appropriate processes for the project Identify and analyze constraints and assumptions for clarification Lead and direct project delivery planning efforts Identify dependencies between activities Coordinate equipment and materials logistics with Applied Electronics logistics personnel, installation crews and Applied Electronics or Vendor shipments. Responsible for securing the necessary licensing and permits that may be required for the team to execute projects Maintain a high level of efficiency and professionalism at work site. Resolve disputes between team members and management and assist in addressing issues amongst team members to avoid unacceptable behaviors

4.

Financial and Quality oversight for assigned Projects

Conduct technical review of assigned projects, including meeting with sales and design groups, to review project scope, BOM, SOW, CAD & flow functional drawings, equipment lists and labour estimates during the proposal development process and/or prior to project launch for accuracy Accountable for developing and maintaining a time schedule and financial costing reserves for assigned projects. Manages project team workforce to deliver project/work task activities within specified targets (financial, time, quality) as requested. Monitors operating expense, capital budgets, timelines and resources for assigned projects. Escalates to appropriate Applied Electronics staff regarding adjustments to labour, financial and scheduling as required. Performs project closing at the end of each phase and for the project as a whole within the estimated budget and time-line Manage successful project close-out including: system testing, deficiency tracking, commissioning, client training, delivery of close-out documentation and obtaining client sign-off Project Completion signed-off by the client with no outstanding deficiencies, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction Prepares forecasts and reports as required for project execution and communication. Authorizes and assigns aforementioned work, materials and tools. Creates, maintains and controls the completion of any project deficiency list

5.

Support and promote all Health and Safety policies and procedures

The incumbent must take all necessary measures to ensure their health and safety and that of staff and subcontractors under their responsibility while ensuring the protection of the public. The Project Manager must ensure site conditions meet company and industry safety standards for the work to be performed. The Project Manager must ensure employees under their responsibility comply with all Health & Safety instructions, guidelines, policies and procedures

6.

Assists with special projects, and performs other duties as required.

Requirements / Qualifications:



Academic Training:



Recognized - Project Management certification Post-Secondary Education in Electronics Technology or equivalent Leadership training (Preferred)

Work Experience:



Must have minimum 3+ years' experience working in a project management role Experience in audio visual project management an asset

Specific Competencies:



Bilingualism (French/English) is required Strong communication skills, verbal and written. CISD security clearance to Secret Level II or higher is preferred; ability to be eligible for same is required. Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills combined with high level of professionalism. Able to establish positive working relationships with others. Superior skill using Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Outlook is required Familiarity and comfort using software solutions such as Visio, Autocad, VectorWorks Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook and Microsoft Project) Advanced experience with and knowledge of broadcast and audio visual systems components Preference will be given to those with PMP designation The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver's license Able to travel domestically and internationally with no restrictions Experience in leading technical implementation teams and subcontractors. Experience in setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to installation teams. Experience in organizing project workflows by assigning responsibilities to installation technicians. Experienced in effectively coordinating multiple projects and executing multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently while working with conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:



Mostly: on construction site, performing audits, assisting implementation, assigning new work tasks, conducting meetings. Some: office environment with prolonged sitting, typing, and phone usage. Manual dexterity required to use computer and possible hand tools. Lifting or moving boxes up to 50 lbs may be required. Utilization of ladders and mechanical lifts (working at heights) may be required. In order to foster a truly collaborative team environment, the PM role is primarily office-based with occasional work from home requirements on a case-by-case basis
