Our Outside Services Team works directly with customers across the Lower Mainland, taking on challenging and diverse projects that keep BC's industries running safely and efficiently.

Position Summary

We're looking for a Certified Welder with strong mechanical skills to join our Outside Millwrighting Services Team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working in the field -- performing structural and mechanical welding, repairs, and installations at customer sites across the region.

When field work is lighter, you'll work alongside our journeyman millwrights in our Surrey shop or in mechanical support roles on-site.
This is a hands-on, team-driven position where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CWB-certified structural and mechanical welding (stick and wire, all positions) on-site and in-shop. Support field millwrights with installation, repair, and alignment of industrial equipment. Assist with equipment dismantling, rigging, and reassembly as required. Perform layout, fit up, and fabrication work to support field projects. Read and interpret blueprints, and repair drawings. Maintain a strong safety focus and adhere to company and customer site protocols. Work collaboratively with millwright crews and customers to complete projects efficiently. Travel to multiple customer sites throughout the Lower Mainland.

Skills and Qualifications

CWB Certified Welder - stick and wire, all positions (required). Minimum 3 years' experience in welding and mechanical repair/fabrication. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions. Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly. Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in the field. Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service mindset. High regard for safety and professionalism always. Valid BC driver's license with reliable transportation.
