to lead the delivery of a Metrolinx asset tagging contract involving ~9,500 assets across the GTA and Ontario. This role is responsible for overseeing field crews, ensuring compliance with Metrolinx requirements, and managing all reporting and safety documentation.
Responsibilities
Act as the designated Project Manager and qualified professional for the contract.
Develop and submit Work Plan Methodologies and site-specific safety plans.
Liaise directly with Metrolinx representatives on scheduling, safety, and reporting.
Supervise field teams (2 technicians + supervisor) to ensure productivity and quality.
Ensure compliance with OHSA, Metrolinx PPE and safety standards, and contract obligations.
Oversee photo documentation and Excel-based tagging reports (thousands of assets).
Approve final deliverables, invoices, and discrepancy resolutions.
Qualifications (Mandatory)
Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) registered with OACETT OR Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered with PEO.
Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, engineering, or facilities.
Strong knowledge of OHSA and safety compliance requirements.
Proven ability to manage crews in the field and coordinate with large clients.
Excellent organizational and reporting skills (Excel and photo documentation).
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel daily across Southern Ontario.
