Overview

We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician

(Ontario Licensed Required)

to oversee the operations of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to provide excellent patient care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Knowledge with specialty medications and retail medications is required.

Duties

Manage daily operations of the Pharmacy. Accurately prepare, dispense, and verify prescriptions in compliance with OCP standards. Communicate effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain inventory and ensure safe handling/storage of medications. Provide patient counselling, education, and support as needed. Train and supervise an additional assistant (if applicable). Uphold all legal and professional requirements under the Ontario College of Pharmacists.

Qualifications

Current Pharmacy Technician license in Ontario (OCP registration required). Experience with Specialty and Retail Medication required. Previous experience in a pharmacy setting required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage operations responsibly. Minimum of 3 years of experience.

Applicants must have completed an accredited Pharmacy Technician program, successfully passed the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) exam, and be registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
