is currently seeking passionate and qualified

Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT)

for part-time positions. The ideal candidates will be experienced, enthusiastic, and confident in teaching both Math and English to students aged 3-14 (Grades Pre-K to 8).

Key Responsibilities

Teach small groups of students (maximum 1:5 teacher-student ratio). Instruct students in Math and English (reading and writing strategies), particularly from Grade 4 and up. Track student progress and communicate feedback to parents and center administrators. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other educators. No lesson planning required--comprehensive teaching materials and answer keys are provided. Complete observation and training hours prior to starting.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT). Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (excluding student teaching). Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Math or English). Strong classroom management and communication skills. Must be punctual and arrive 5-10 minutes before each scheduled class.

Additional Information

Preferred:

Candidates with full-time employment seeking additional part-time hours. Candidates who live in or are willing to relocate to the Niagara Falls area.
