BAT Construction, a Canadian leader in slope stabilization and geotechnical construction, is seeking experienced
certified Nozzlemen and Shotcrete
to support our expanding operations across Western Canada. Our projects demand skilled and safety-conscious professionals who thrive in challenging environments and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
As a Nozzleman with BAT Construction, you'll be an integral part of field operations, responsible for applying shotcrete using both manual and robotic methods. You will work closely with site supervisors and peers to ensure structural safety, material integrity, and adherence to design specifications.
We are looking for individuals who are dependable, adaptable, and capable of working in remote locations on rotational schedules. If you have experience with shotcrete, rock stabilization, or related geotechnical systems, and are eager to grow in a respected and safety-driven company, we want to hear from you.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the Foreman to apply shotcrete by hand nozzle and robotic arm.
Perform inspections on all equipment and hoses prior to use.
Inspect reinforcement prior to shoot and ensure it is stable and safe to bear the weight of the shotcrete.
Check that gauge pins/guide wires are installed correctly to ensure proper shotcrete thickness.
Operate Zoom Boom and Scissor Lift in a safe manner.
Promote a safe work environment and adhere to all policies and procedures.
Participate in all safety meetings.
Authorizations
Authorized to perform the duties and responsibilities listed above.
Required Qualifications
ACI Shotcrete Nozzleman Certification
is preferred.
Willingness to work at remote project sites.
Able to work extended schedule.
Must possess the ability to work with others in a team and in challenging environments.
Experience with rock bolting, meshing, scaling, drilling, or grouting is considered an asset.
Schedule
Day and night shifts depending on site needs
Weekends and overtime as required
