We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Journeyperson Millwright to join our Meadow Lake OSB division, located in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. This state-of-the-art facility has the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative forest products for customers around the world.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Millwright Journeyperson certification.
• Hydraulic systems troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, plans and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to working safely.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working within a preventative maintenance program that involves daily checks as well as shut down work orders.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Familiar with multi-skill approach to problems that includes working side-by-side with electricians and operations.
• Previous experience in a forest products environment considered an asset.

In this role you will:

• Work with a high-performance team dedicated to maintaining all mill machinery including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
• Find safe, creative ways to boost equipment reliability and streamline our processes.
• Troubleshoot issues and come up with safe, reliable fixes to keep the mill running.
• Share your knowledge with the next generation of maintenance rockstars \xe2\x80\x93 our Apprentices.

Meadow Lake is located just a short distance from the beautiful Meadow Lake Provincial Park in Saskatchewan.
