Position Overview
We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Aesthetic Laser Technician / Certified Laser Operator on a commission-contracted basis, located in Lethbridge, Alberta.

About the Role
As a Laser Technician, you will be responsible for administering safe and effective laser treatments to clients. The role emphasizes both technical precision and a patient-centered approach, requiring you to support and guide clients with clear communication, education, and compassion throughout their treatment experience.

Key Responsibilities
Perform laser-based aesthetic treatments, including hair removal, pigmentation correction, vascular therapies, and rejuvenation procedures.
Conduct thorough consultations, including reviewing medical history, assessing Fitzpatrick skin type, and evaluating chromophores.
Select and adjust treatment parameters such as fluence, wavelength, pulse duration, and cooling methods in accordance with client needs and established laser safety principles.
Provide comprehensive pre- and post-care instructions to clients and maintain accurate documentation and photographic records.
Ensure the cleanliness of treatment rooms and adhere strictly to clinic infection control protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements
Successful completion of a recognized Medical or Aesthetic Laser Technician or Laser Safety Certification program.
At least one year of hands-on experience operating medical device aesthetic lasers.
Strong understanding of laser-tissue interactions and clinical safety standards.
Excellent communication skills and a supportive, patient-focused approach to care.
Compensation and Professional Development
This position features a commission-based contract structure. Additionally, there are opportunities available for ongoing professional development and advancement of skills.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $25.05-$52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week
