Sustainable Housing seeks a Certifed Energy Advisor to perform home energy evaluations for the EnerGuide for Houses Program throughout NS.

Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about new home construction, home renovations, and energy efficiency upgrades.

Great attention to detail Strong organizational skills An ability to work well alone or in a team and take direction Good personal skills, communication skills and customer service skills are a necessity as you will be interacting with the public on an ongoing basis. Previous experience in the residential building/energy efficiency industry is required (construction, drafting, estimating, etc.). Must possess good computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and E-mail is a requirement. Knowledge of energy efficiency software is preferred but is not a requirement. Energy Advisors must own a computer and printer and have access to e-mail and a vehicle. Solid time management and flexibility will be imperative for this role.

Strong preference will be given to those who have completed either or both of Natural Resource Canada's Foundation and Certified Energy Advisor Version 15 Exams.

Remuneration: To be determined based on experience

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
